Austin L. Perdue

Austin Lafayette Perdue, 35, passed away on February 12, 2026.

Born on June 15, 1990, in Austin, Texas, Austin grew up in Central Texas, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed the strong values that would guide him throughout his life. He later made his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Austin will be remembered for his generous spirit, kind heart, and deep love for his family. He found his greatest joy in being a father to his beloved daughter, Brooke Marie Perdue, who was the light of his life. His family and friends will cherish memories of his laughter, his steady presence, and the unwavering support he offered to those he loved.

He is survived by his father, Edwin Ray Perdue, Jr.; mother, Claire Ann Perdue; daughter, Brooke Marie Perdue; sister, Krista Lee Wanger; and brothers, Edwin Ray Perdue, III and Dalton James Perdue.

Austin’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In honor of Austin’s love and devotion to his daughter, Brooke, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a GoFundMe created to support Brooke’s future.
