Patrice Lynn Morris, age 57, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1968, in Salisbury, Maryland.
Patrice was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved family member whose presence brought joy and strength to everyone around her. She lived a life centered on love, laughter, and family, always creating meaningful moments with those she held dear.
She was married to her beloved husband, Charles Morris of 10 years. A proud and devoted mother of three sons: Mark Bacon, Robert Hughes, Sr., and Trebor Chatmon. Patrice also leaves behind a legacy of love through her cherished grandchildren: Makai Bacon, Makayla Bacon, Makenzie Bacon, Robert Hughes, Jr., Royal Hughes, Zamprogna Hall, Trebor Chatmon, Jr., Gabrielle Bacon, Nalini Chatmon, Reign Hughes, Tytus Bacon, Naliyah Chatmon, and Nalaya Chatmon.
She is also survived by her loving father, Greg Dutton; her sisters, Monica McHenry and Tammy Brown; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Geraldine Dutton.
Patrice found great joy in cooking, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family. Known for her bold and vibrant personality, she carried herself with confidence, style, and strength. Patrice was funny, outspoken, and full of life — a woman who spoke her mind, stood firm in her beliefs, and loved deeply. Her warmth, laughter, and beautiful spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her strength of character, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of love, joy, and resilience will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
